Just about the only modification that the original owner made to the bike was to install some HID lights in place of the regular headlight bulbs. These work fairly well and look good, but he then left the stock fog lights (complete with broken mountings)! It did not take long to find replacement LEDs. These were well-recommended by reviewers and were reasonably priced. Once they arrived, they proved to be surprisingly hefty, and the wiring was of good quality. A few hours were spent in modifications. First, I decided to drill and use the stock brackets. Then the majority of the time was spent routing and wiring the up to the stock fog light switch. I am pleased with the final product. These produce some serious light, and have me longing for a night ride….
