As a people carrier. The bus came with the normal dim door-activated lights. I replaced the bulbs with brighter LED versions, but they are small and not suited to the new purpose. I had a strip of DC-powered LEDs that came in a box of stuff from the bay window bus. Some double-sided tape and some zip tie anchors provided the means to attach the strip to the overhead A/C tunnel. It is a single continuous strip that goes up toward the front,, across the tunnel,, and then back down the other side to the back. No colors or fancy programming, but no cost either 😉 They get plugged in back at the house battery, so problem solved.
