It is April, and finally the temperatures feel like spring. However, the state of the roads still feels like the aftermath of winter. Huge craters and crevices pockmark the roads as if they had been bombed in an air attack.  Frost heaves have misaligned large blocks of concrete. Gravel is strewn in the corners and at the edges of some of my favorite roads. It is a challenging time to ride. These first rides are more of a reconnaissance outing mixed with the elation of being able to ride.  The balance and sturdiness of the R 75 are a perfect mix. If you feel like you’re being over too far into a corner, you can simply correct your line. If a little gravel breaks the back end loose, it is easily recoverable.
