One way to restore faith in the clutch is to take a 100 mile ride. In this case, a mixed ride of highway and city traffic to run a lengthy errand. Pre-start, the clutch felt normal. After startup it remained normal. A good blast into the city and then some typical traffic and all was well. The return trip was uneventful as well.
